About Shani Shingnapur
The peculiar thing about Shani Shingnapur is that houses here do not have doors and locks. Triambakeshwar temple is one of the twelve jyotirlingas dedicated to Lord Shiva. Surrounded by lush green hills, the place is known for its scenic beauty and is the source of Godavri. The structure of the temple clearly shows the influence of the Peshwas Empire. The presiding deity of Triambakeshwar temple is the Goddess Triambakeshwari. Day 01: Mumbai to Shirdi (238 kms)
